I’m a cartoonist and teacher from Los Angeles. I make comics that are frequently inspired by the people and stories of Southern California.

My latest project is about our relationship to the desert, centered around the unlikely survival of the world’s rarest fish.

I’m currently an elementary art teacher at LA Unified. I have also taught comics workshops for kids, teens, and adults.  I’m co-editor at The Gutter, an online comics publisher with an annual anthology.
